UP Govt. to launch ‘Model Cities’ plan in response of Centre’s ‘Smart City’

Uttar Pradesh government is to launch soon ‘model cities’ plan in the response of Centre’s ‘Smart City’ plan. ┬áThese model cities will be equipped with modern facilities. They will feature Wi-Fi, so the street will be identified as separate cycle tracks, including better transport.

Which cities ‘model cities’ will be included in, the right will pass to the CM. Housing and Urban Planning Department has prepared its blueprint. He has been referred to it for approval. After clearance of the CM plan is preparing to launch. Smart City Planning Centre under the state’s 13 cities have chosen. The state government wants the state to be more of a smart city. So ‘model cities’ plan was introduced. Model for cities development authorities will be provided through the Housing Department, and it will be sent to the CM.

  • Local body
  • Public Works Department
  • Power Corporation
  • Home Office
  • Tourism Department
  • UPSRTC
  • Medical and Education Department

  • Seating arrangements and facilities for drinking water
  • With enhanced security police posts and stations equipped with modern facilities

  • Trees and flowers will be planted along the roads
  • Beautification of ponds
  • Better traffic facilities
  • Every encroachment wide and good roads
  • Foot over bridges and underpasses for pedestrians facility

  • Important places near the bus stop
  • Studies with better treatment system
  • Nursery, primary education for the necessary arrangements with the other
  • Public hospitals will be equipped with modern facilities
  • Primary health centers and dispensaries will be activated
