Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has decided to develop three integrated sub-cities in Dwarka, Narela and Rohini. The authority will release the tenders in next month and it will also start work for Yamuna river front development by October 2.
As per the latest news, the urban development minister Naidu directed the NDMC officials that the Rs 1,900-crore “Smart City” project should be implemented by June 2018 and the efforts should be visible by next June. He also said that the NDMC can become a lighthouse for other cities to develop as a smart city.

New Delhi has been selected as a Smart City in the list of 98 Smart Cities. It has successfully completed the competitive process of ‘Smart City Challenge’. The Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) has shortlisted New Delhi along with the 97 cities across the country.
