PM Narendra Modi’s dream project 100 smart city, remaining cities is selected. Gandhinagar, the capital of Prime Minister’s home State Gujrat is selected for the smart cities mission with Sonia Gandhi’s Rae Bareilly when the Center selects the remaining 40 of 100 smart cities on June 23.
Smart Cities Mission is the most ambitious project of the Central government in which, the government has targeted to develop 100 smart cities across the country. about 20 cities have been selected in the first batch of the Smart Cities Mission to set up Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) with municipal corporations. Full-time CEOs, CIOs and CFOs have been appointed for this.
Bareilly City has been successfully completed the competitive process of ‘Smart City Challenge and its has been shortlisted as one of the 98 smart cities under Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) ‘Smart City Mission’.
Bilaspur city has been shortlisted in the list of 100 smart cities under the ‘Smart City Mission’ of Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). The most awaited and ambitious 100 smart city mission was launched by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25 June 2015.
The Bilaspur City has successfully completed the competitive smart city challenge and make its position in the list of 98 smart cities. The Municipal Corporation of Bilaspur is preparing the smart city proposal for participate in the second phase of the smart city challenge and our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for the first round of funding, for the year 2015-16.
The Municipal Corporation of Bilaspur urges to the citizens of Bilaspur and other citizens to post their views and suggestion on the city’s basic infrastructure such as:
